Over the years, although the number of women in the legal field has increased, the number of women in senior positions remains stagnantly low as compared to their male counterparts. Featuring a successful in-house counsel, a law firm partner, and a senior advisor who have cultivated their careers by taking leadership positions, including in bar associations, government and advisory posts, and pro bono work, this panel will offer a discussion and advice from the perspectives of women who have utilized personal agency to broaden their career trajectories as well as empower them to bring along and care for the women lawyers they mentor. These women will detail how they took calculated risks and developed strategies to continually enhance their careers while striving to achieve a work-life balance.
