A man that never went through puberty says his testicl*s are the size of marbles - despite being in his late 20s.

Brandon Westfall bravely appeared on an episode of The Doctors where he opened up about his condition, saying that he doesn't have a love life as he has 'no sex drive at all'.

The episode aired back in 2013, and at that time he sought the help of a medical professional who agreed with his diagnosis, saying: "Your genitals are undeveloped."

He went on to tell Brandon, who was 27 years old when the episode was filmed: "One immediate concern I have is your hormone balance and it is highly likely that your testosterone is too low."

A couple of years later, he took to a Reddit AMA to explain more about his life and the treatment he underwent after the show.

"When I was younger I always knew in the back of my mind there was something wrong with my body but never really thought to look into it until my late teens," he said.

"I needed to get a physical exam completed in order to join my high school soccer team.

"While visiting the doctor I asked him why I had not hit puberty, he essentially blew the subject off and told me I was a late bloomer."

Brandon said he 'never really put much thought' into it and continued to focus on his school and subsequent work.

After graduating, he had a growth spurt which saw him go from being 5'4" to 6'3", and while it seemed like he was finally developing with age, Brandon said he now realises he should've been seeking medical attention.

Following some rough moments in his life, including a divorce and unemployment, he said: "Eventually I decided I needed to research what was wrong with me.

"After several months of research I diagnosed myself with Kallmann syndrome.

"Kallmann's Syndrome is a genetic condition where the primary symptom is a failure to start puberty or a failure to fully complete it."

After appearing on The Doctors, tests showed that his diagnosis was correct.

"Over the past two years I have been on TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) on three separate occasions for 2-3 months at a time," he continued.

"Each time I start treatment the cost of seeing a doctor frequently, blood work, and the medication itself gets overwhelming.

"I've tried applying for medical assistance but I have been denied every time as they do not feel my condition is severe enough."

At the time, he described how he was hoping for more hours at work in order to help him catch up with medical bills and eventually start treatment again.

Brandon was more than willing to answer everyone's questions, including one about whether the other parts of his body were 'underdeveloped'.

He replied: "Prior to the show I had no hair on my arms/legs, very little pubic hair, very little armpit air, no facial hair.

"As for genitals, my testes were, and still are the size of marbles. The only way I will see growth in my testes is if I have special hormone therapy dedicated to that specifically.

"My penis is within normal range but I can expect some growth once I start treatment. (5.4 inches length erect 4.2 inches girth)."

And while he was struggling to find the financial assistance to continue with treatment, Brandon said he finally felt accepted by society.

"I still see people viewing me as much younger than I actually am but I have accepted this is due to their ignorance," he wrote.

"Once I explain my medical condition to them they normally understand and do their best to treat me as my age."

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of information on where Brendon's at in life now, although a GoFundMe he set up back in 2014 is still active - you can find the link here - and it raised $1,915 (£1,545) of its $5,000 (£4,035) goal.

Here's hoping he got the help he needed.
